How We Make Money
AppProofed is a free website. We do not charge our readers anything to access our reviews, comparisons, scam alerts, or guides. To keep this site running and pay our team, we earn money in two ways.
First, we earn affiliate commissions. When you click a download link on our site and install or sign up for an app, the app company may pay us a small commission. This costs you nothing extra. The app is the same price whether you download it through our link or directly from the app store.
Second, we may display advertisements on our site through advertising networks like Google AdSense. These ads are served automatically based on your browsing interests and are not controlled or endorsed by us.
Our Editorial Independence
This is the most important section on this page, so please read it carefully.
Our affiliate partnerships never influence our ratings, rankings, or recommendations. We have a strict wall between our editorial team and our business relationships.
Here is what that means in practice:
We have given 2-star ratings to apps that pay us high affiliate commissions because the app did not pass our testing standards.
We have recommended apps with lower commissions over apps with higher commissions because they were genuinely better for our readers.
We have published scam alerts about apps that offered us money to write positive reviews. We refused the money and published the warning instead.
No app company can pay us to change a rating, remove a negative review, or write a fake positive review. If anyone ever offers us money to do this, we will refuse and we will tell you about it.
How We Decide What to Review
We choose which apps to review based on three factors.
First, reader demand. If many of our readers are searching for information about a specific app, we prioritize reviewing it.
Second, popularity in India. Apps that are trending, running heavy advertising campaigns, or gaining a large number of downloads get reviewed sooner because more people need honest information about them.
Third, suspicion of fraud. If we see an app making unrealistic promises like "earn 50,000 rupees per day" or if readers report problems with an app, we fast-track a review or scam alert for that app.
We do not accept payment from app companies to review their apps. If an app company approaches us for a sponsored review, we will clearly label it as "Sponsored" at the top of the article and our honest rating will remain unchanged.
How Affiliate Links Work on Our Site
When you see a download button or a link to an app on our site, it is usually an affiliate link. Here is exactly how it works.
You click the download link on our review page. You are taken to the app's official website or app store listing. You download and install the app like normal. If you sign up or make your first deposit, the app company may pay us a commission.
This commission comes from the app company's marketing budget. It does not come from you. You do not pay anything extra. The app works exactly the same whether you use our link or find the app yourself.
We include affiliate links in our reviews, comparison articles, and best-of lists. We do not include affiliate links in our scam alert articles, educational guides, or informational content.
What We Will Never Do
We will never publish a positive review of an app we have not personally tested just to earn a commission.We will never hide serious problems with an app to protect our affiliate relationship with them.We will never rank an app higher in our comparison lists because they pay a higher commission.We will never remove a scam alert or negative review because an app company threatened us or offered us money.We will never create fake urgency or false claims like "limited time offer" or "only 10 spots left" to pressure you into downloading an app.We will never recommend an app that we would not feel comfortable recommending to our own family members.
Sponsored Content Policy
If we ever publish content that has been sponsored or paid for by an app company, we will always clearly disclose it. Sponsored content will have a visible label at the top of the article that says "Sponsored Review" or "Paid Partnership."
Even in sponsored content, our ratings and opinions remain our own. A sponsor can pay for a review to be written, but they cannot pay for a positive review. If the app fails our testing process, we will say so regardless of the sponsorship.
As of the date of this page, we have not published any sponsored content on AppProofed. If that changes in the future, this section will be updated.
How to Report a Problem
If you ever believe that a review on AppProofed is inaccurate, biased, or influenced by an affiliate relationship, we want to hear from you.

The name of the app or the URL of the review you have concerns about. A brief description of what you believe is inaccurate or biased. Any evidence you have to support your concern.
We take every report seriously and will investigate within 7 days. If we find that a review needs to be corrected or updated, we will do so promptly and transparently.
